"We first purchased PhoneMaster in 1999 when the company was only four years in business.  Over the years we have upgraded through the different versions and are running the latest version at the moment.  From the beginning they provided a high level of customer service and even after all these years this has never changed, except to get better.  At a time when we rarely pay for service contracts, we continue to renew and pay our annual support contract with Phoneware and here’s why –
  • When you call in you get a live answer from a tech – no voicemail queue
  • The guys always have useful suggestions on the first call, which indeed is rare today  (it is rare enough that you get thru to the techie people on the first call anywhere)
  • It's always a pleasure to have a two-way conversation with someone who
    actually knows MORE than we do - that again is a rarity today
  • While Phoneware is based in Ireland and we are in Southwestern Ontario, the time zones have never caused a problem and we get full coverage during our workday
  • Twelve years after we first purchased, we are still talking to many of the same people in tech support.  That in itself says something about Phoneware.

I talk about Phoneware a lot -- I am so impressed by the start-up story and here's how I heard it – It was started by a bunch of young guys. Someone was in Barcelona as chief engineer on the Nortel NBC Television contract for the Olympics in 1992 and thought there must be a better way than all of this tedious manual programming - got a grant from the Irish government, set up in 1995 and off they went! Last I heard it was the top product in Europe in this market."

"I thought I would drop you a note to tell you about the great experience we had using PhoneMaster for the first time.

About a week before a major office reorganization I installed PhoneMaster with the help of your technical support staff. I was quite nervous about using your program because the reorganization was scheduled for the following weekend and I would have to move and reconfigure over 80 phones. I was amazed how easy it was to move and reconfigure after only a half hour overview. When I did run into problems the technical support was excellent, I was impressed by the support staff knowledge of the product and switches. When it came to the big weekend, I moved and reconfigured 88 phones. What makes this really amazing is that I have no training at all on SL1 switches and without PhoneMaster I wouldn't be able to make the smallest change.
